Dr. Dhanada Kanta Mishra, Chairman, HDF Trust
Dr. Dhanada K. Mishra is an academician and administrator. His educational qualifications include B. Tech (Civil), Regional College of Engineering (REC), Trichy; M. Tech (Structural Engineering), University of Oklahoma (USA); and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, Michigan) in the field of Civil Engineering Materials. Dr. Mishra has held several positions of academic and administrative responsibility over the years. He was the Dean (Research and Industrial Coordination) at KIIT University and Principal of JITM, Paralakhemundi. He was also a Trustee of CSREM and Director (R&D) of JITM. Dr. Mishra has worked with national and international organizations including Rocla Technology, Guildford (Australia) and Associated Cement Company India Limited (ACC). Dr. Mishra has several publications to his credit and serves as a reviewer for Indian Concrete Journal. He has received several awards such as the Chi-Epsilon award while at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Mishra is actively involved in development related issues and is the founder president of the Association for India's Development, Australia Inc. He is serving on the board of the Sustainable Educational and Economic Development Society. Currently he is the State Advisor of Pratham.

Mr. Sudarsan Das, Secretary, HDF Trust
Mr. Sudarsan Das is a development thinker, columnist, leader and institution builder with admirable human values. He studied Sociology in Ravenshaw College and Utkal University. He was an exemplary student leader during his under-graduate and post-graduate education, at college, University and state level. He started his career as a lecturer in sociology and has more than a decade of research and academic experience. Mr. Das held various positions of responsibility including Director, Centre for Social Development; Dean, Student Welfare; and Registrar at KIIT University. He was a senate member in Utkal University and member in the Board of Studies,Deptt. of Social Work, Fakir Mohan University, Balasore. He has been associated in various capacities in many civil society organizations in the country. Mr. Das is a regular columnist in the daily Oriya news papers, The Sambad & The Pragatibadi and many other journals and periodicals. He has written a number of books on contemporary socio-political and economic issues affecting marginalized and under privileged people. He has travelled widely in India and abroad.

Dr. Gopal Mohapatra, Member, HDF Trust
Dr. Gopal Mohapatra is a business planning advisor to the Vice-President of Offshore USA business unit in Hess Corporation, a private oil and gas company in the US with worth $29B in market capitalization. Before joining Hess, he worked for ten years in Exxon Mobil, the largest public oil and Gas Company in the world, as a project leader. Dr. Mohapatra's technical expertise is oil and gas exploration and production.
Dr. Mohapatra’s educational qualifications include BS and MS in Exploration Geophysics from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur; MBA with focus on MIS and International Finance from University of Houston; and a Ph.D. in Geophysics from University of Arizona, Tucson, USA.
Dr. Mohapatra is a member of various professional organizations including SEG and AAPG. He takes great interest in philanthropic work, reading and travelling. He lives with his family in Houston, Texas, USA.

Mr. Debasis Mohanty, Member, HDF Trust
Mr. Debasis Mohanty is working as a senior database administrator for all platforms in Kinder Morgan, a leading US energy company having enterprise value of $35B. Prior to that, he worked in MCI WorldCom, a telecommunication company, as a senior software systems engineer. Besides the corporate world, he gained experience in academic field while working as a faculty member in College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar.
He obtained his BE degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra. After that he pursued M.S. degree in Computer Science from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, USA. While in LSU, he was involved in research of Reverse Engineering and Reengineering of functional legacy systems in software engineering field.
